Hi everyone...this site has been so quiet, yet I know many guys whos ultimate fantasy is the full facial ink...to me it is my lifes dream, but for another 12 years, real life, bills and mortgage get in the way..
And before anyone says, I can not be that serious about it then or I would just do it...beleive me I am, but I do not want to be older, poorer and homeless...everything comes to he who waits..
Anyway guys, would love to hear about your facial tatts , whether you already have them, or whether like me its a dream...
All the best. Jim

Re: Very quiet...share your visions
Fri, May 19, 2006 - 1:54 PMIt is tough wanting that ultimate visible ink but facing the realities of income, bills and mortgages in this very judgemental world!!! When I did finally stop working full time, I had my hands inked within 3 weeks (I know...what took so long? <G>) My throat tribal and neck swallows can still be covered by a buttoned shirt and tie when I do my very part time job. They are fine with the hand=web flames but I'm sure would not go along with the neck ink.
Lately, I've been thinking about something very small on my face that I could cover with makeup for that part time job. At the same time, I don't want makeup that is obviously makeup from 3 ft away!. The goal this summer is ink on top of my skull then have 3 months to let the hair grow back. Why still the hair? Again, that p.t. job....but I crave the self satisfaction of knowing that the top of my head is inked! We all have our reasons for the ink we wear. I for one have utmost respect for anyone who is also very heavily inked, whether the ink is visible or not. If you have facial tattoos, realize that I too may want to have it done. My timing might be different than yours., but that doesn't mean that I love tattoos any less.

Sun, May 28, 2006 - 10:52 AMJim, Your right there are many of us just like working to pay the bills and wanting to more with our visable ink. I am getting closer as I am 65 this December and ready to retire, and do more. But to quel my burning desire for facial ink I added a "mole" at about age 45 and then at 5 I had a small dot in the corner of my eye. These were just promises to myself that I was on the road to be a tatttoo'd man with facial ink. I covered the dot by my eye for a long time but have given up with that. Most folks either notice it or don't but ,little comment. From what I see with your pics you are doning a great jo so far keep it up.

Re: Very quiet...share your visions
Sat, June 10, 2006 - 10:23 AMHere are a few of my favorites. I actually prefer heavy neck and scalp ink combined with more subdued facial ink (like eyebrows, sideburns, goatee). Right now I am working on full coverage in areas that can be covered by a business suit. After that's done, I expect the ink will "creep out" onto my hands from under my shirtcuffs and up my neck and scalp from my shirt collar. After that . . .it probably won't be long until it hits the face.
