Nick........it is inevitable so just go when the tattoo god tells ya its time!!!! I've "tested" multiple facial piercings and had the top of my skull inked this summer. Lived with it for 4 months....then for economic reasons, had to retreat back to the conservative tie and jacket world until the end of April. I've tried it, I like it and can't wait to go back to it !!!! I know more ink on my scalp is coming, more ink on my hands is coming, and I swear the tattoo god is gonna want to see some ink on my face by the end of 2008. We keep thinking about it.....its gonna happen !!!!!

Nick - you say you 'fear' that the face is inevitable; your pictures show that there is still a lot of un-inked back. If you fear it, does it make sense to do some fill-in on other parts of your body before you tackle the face?

but if you want to do the face - I have to say I don't love your concept for the chin; you've got a great goatee - how about coming down from the scalp rather than starting on the chin? You've got a long, relatively narrow face - how about emphasizing the horizontal rather than the vertical?
