i was inspired by shannon larratt's.
can anyone tell me more about white ink and if it actually does fade/disappear? that would be an issue cus the face/head is constantly exposed to sunlight. and is this is an uncommon ink, is it wise to find someone who has experience, or is it not much different from other colors? is it true that it takes several applications of the white ink to stay?
thanks

Re: white facial tats
Tue, October 31, 2006 - 2:00 PMI have white ink on my face. 1session. 7 years. No fading or touch up needed. HOWEVER, my skin tone and the way my skin takes in ink is very specific to me. You should find an artist who has experience (and healed proof of ) putting in blocks of white ink. I have seen attempts at putting in white ink result in scarred and pocked skin.

Tue, October 31, 2006 - 3:51 PMTattoo ink in general is not solid, it is translucent. Because of that it is very hard to get a true white in a face tattoo. Most of the time i can fade out, but allot of it depends on your skin.
