The tattoo bug started biting hard once again after about a year and a half interval. I've got an appointment set up for June 2nd. I want to get another "artificial sideburn" in front of my right ear to match the one in front of my left ear, approximately the same area and shape. It will consist of a flaming scull, likey done in black and grey.
I'm also now considering what I want on the top of my head, though that may take a while for me to figure out.

Re: The Bug Is Biting Hard Again...
Fri, May 25, 2007 - 6:06 PMOne of the things I enjoy about tattoos is the psychology involved. For example, when I shake hands with people I'm forcing them to grab a tattoo. I wan't to come up with something compelling to go on the top of my head so that when I look down for whatever reason I'm forcing whoever I'm dealing with to look closely at the tattoo. -

Re: The Bug Is Biting Hard Again...
Wed, July 11, 2007 - 9:25 PMAfter a missed appointment with one artist because of my irregular schedule, I finally hooked up with another artist a few days ago. The new ink worked out perfectly. We found a 3-D looking skeleton key going into a keyhole to go behind my right ear. With my collaboration, the artist was able to adapt a flaming scull forming a sideburn coming down on my cheek in front of my right ear that pretty much covers the same area as the smoke coming out of the truck in front of my left ear. I'll try to post photos here and have already posted photos of the new ink on my Flickr photo sharing account at www.truckertomphotos.com.
