I'd love a bio mechanical tattoo over one quarter of my face (or maybe just under that). Sort of Borg-like, if you like. Trouble is, I don't know whether I'd be able to get the depth it would really need?? I'm no artist myself, so I really can't say. I'm thinking there'd have to be some skin tone within it to achieve that. I've yet to see one - so if anyone here has, can you let me know? Then I can have a really good hunt and find someone here in Melbourne who would do it. - which so far isn't promising..

(Fantasy)......What about a lifelike drawing, say something of the quality of Kat Von D's work, of a well known person,tattooed over your own features. It could be your favourite movie star or someone like Adolf Hitler....either way if it were possible it certainly would turn a few heads!
I realise that it would be impossible to achieve as everyone's bone structures are completly different. Hey it was just a fantasy and no more ridiculous that that stupid movie "Face off"
As you've already said, most styles have already been attempted. I particularly liked the skull tat that Dark posted a link to. I think that the guy had an amazing artist and it worked well but I don't know if I would have the balls to go for something like that myself. There's a guy in the UK that had his entire body covered in a leopardskin pattern. He now lives on a remote island off the coast of Scotland and spends most of his time in isolation. I don't know if this was out of choice or the fact that he had turned himself into a freakshow exhibit!
I guess that I'd like to see someone use a "trompe l'oeil" technique to emulate ketchup running down my chin:-) Everytime I ate a hamburger someone would be fooled into reaching me a napkin:-)

So many people have tribal tattoos and the scarier side of fantasy. Personally, I want tattoos of ageless, dewy wide-eyed, innocent manga characters; and absolutely something which visibly and unambiguously identifies me as gay.

Naturally enough, I suppose, I'd like to see some more people who've implemented that kind of concept.

i really like the facial tattoos where you can still see some ones face.
my ex boyfriend wanted to get thors hammer on his chin and two celtic knot bands coming from his ears and ending in a claw on either side of his nose. i think that would be really excellent.

for myself i'd likely get a black diamond on my chin and some pattern work under my eye i'm not sure what yet.
